DEEPTECH COMMERCIALISATION · FRACTIONAL CCO

From technology to the first customer.

I enter when the product is technically serious but the market does not understand it yet. I build the first market, offer, narrative and sales motion that produce evidence.

THE PROBLEM

Breakthrough technology does not sell itself.

Deeptech rarely fails because the engineering is too weak. More often, the team has not selected the first urgent problem, still speaks in technical features or tries to sell to everyone. My role is to compress the distance between technical possibility and a buyer’s decision.

What must exist after I enter

01

A first market

A clear segment, urgent problem, accountable buyer and value hypothesis that can be tested in real market conversations.

02

A buyable offer

Positioning, value language, pilot scope, commercial model and the evidence required for a serious decision.

03

A sales motion

Target accounts, outreach logic, first conversations, partners and a cadence that turns activity into commercial traction.

HOW I WORK

A defined mandate, not endless consulting.

01

Commercial readiness audit

We separate real advantages from hopeful assumptions and examine the market, buyer, offer, evidence and the team’s ability to sell.

02

First-market sprint

We choose the direction, build the narrative and pilot offer, then confront both with the right decision-makers.

03

Fractional CCO

I own the commercial motion under a clear mandate, with explicit metrics and a deliberate transfer of ownership into the organisation.

MARKET EVIDENCE

Space. Photonics. Quantum. Defence. Advanced materials.

My commercial work includes Faraday Solutions, Creotech Instruments, Vortex/RadAir and Sendivogius. Across sectors, the pattern is consistent: translate the hard thing, expose the decision and create traction.

FAQ

First, let us test whether this is the right moment

01

When does a fractional CCO make sense?

When the technology and technical team exist, but nobody truly owns the route to market, first customers or the commercial operating rhythm. It is often too early to build a full sales department.

02

Do you replace the founders in sales?

I take responsibility for designing and activating the commercial motion, but I do not disconnect founders from the market. The organisation must retain the capability after my mandate ends.

03

Can you work with confidential or defence projects?

Yes. Public evidence is adjusted to the project’s confidentiality, while the operating process can reflect restricted access, institutional partners and long decision cycles.

THE FIRST MOVE

Bring the technology and the decision that is standing still.

In your first message, tell me what already works, who should buy it and where movement currently stops. I will qualify the fit quickly.
